In His Own Words
Consider it #managed
The Skipper’s Report
Ian “Jerry” Samuel does not take a single at-bat, and that is exactly the point. He builds the batting order, chases down the rainouts, keeps the cooler stocked, and somehow gets fourteen grown men to the same field at the same time. There is no box score for that. There is just him.
He will not tell you he is the reason the lineup card makes sense, or that the dugout stays loud when the scoreboard does not. He will just tell you somebody has to run this circus. Every run the Missiles score and every ring they chase lands on the one line that belongs to the manager: the record above.
